Our Mission
By combining direct service, creative collaboration, and reflection on systematic health negligence, we want ABCD to empower members to address gaps in care and bring joy and connection into clinical settings. Through our belief that AnyBody Can Dance, we aim to build a more inclusive, authentic approach to health, one step at a time.
Our Story
Founded in 2025 by UC Berkeley pre-health and dance students, AnyBody Can Dance began as a volunteer initiative at local clinics. Today, we continue to grow, spreading movement and confidence to patients and the community through various forms of creative artistic expression.

Hi! I'm a second year studying Molecular and Cell Biology with a minor in Bio Engineering. With my dance journey starting as a kid, I have always had a passion for dance. I am currently purusing a pre-med track to become a surgeon one day! Founding ABCD is more than simply bridging two of my interests together, as I continue to realize the effects dance and other forms of creative expression can have on individuals both physically and emoitonally.

Hi! I am a 3rd year studying Integrative Biology! I always loved dancing since high school and I love helping patients! I am on a pre-med track hoping to become a surgeon in the future! Talk to me about research, shadowing, EMT, extracurriculars, and more!

I'm Sravya Bandaru, a second year student studying Neuroscience! I am hoping to go to Medical school post grad, to work towards becoming a neurosurgeon in the future! I've grown up doing Indian Classical dance, further motivating me to join this club. Because ABCD crosses dance and health, it felt like the perfect place for me!

Hi! I’m a second-year studying Neuroscience, and I hope to attend medical school after graduation to become a pediatrician. While I don’t have formal dance experience, I’m really interested in exploring creative and enjoyable ways to support a healthy lifestyle, especially through movement. I joined ABCD because I believe dance can be a meaningful and accessible form of care.
